Former President Donald Trump attacked the Biden administration from his Truth Social account on Saturday after Moscow said it would not rule out the use of nuclear weapons in its war against Ukraine.
Amid escalating rhetoric from the Kremlin about the potential to escalate the conflict, Trump referred to those leading the country – presumably President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris – as “Low IQ.”
As The New York Post noted, Russian leaders have said they are prepared to destroy Ukraine’s capital. The paper reported:
Russian officials threatened Western nations with an unchecked escalation of war — including the potential use of nuclear weapons — and the all-out destruction of Kyiv, if Ukraine gets its allies’ permission to use long-range missiles to strike further into Russia. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov claimed that Western leaders had already decided whether to allow Ukraine’s use of long-range missiles and had informed Kyiv — forcing Moscow to respond with its own actions.“The decision has been made, the carte blanche and all indulgences have been given [to Kyiv]
, so we are ready for everything,” Ryabkov said, state-owned RIA news agency reported. “And we will react in a way that will not be pretty.”
Saturday, as The Sun reported, former Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev threatened to turn Kyiv into a “giant, grey, melted spot” if Ukrainian forces struck at Russian cities.
On his social media account, Trump replied with what appeared to be a shot at the White House, although he did not name any specific person.

“Russia has today threatened to use Nuclear Weapons, and we have Low IQ individuals, the same that messed up Afghanistan (who don’t have a clue!), in charge of this deadly situation,” Trump wrote. “NO GOOD — NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! MAGA2024.”
Trump’s post followed one in which he celebrated his role in the overturning of Roe v. Wade and preceded one in which he shared a prediction from Nate Silver that showed him with a major advantage over Harris with voters.
