Kat Timpf: I Was Accosted in a Bar Because I Work For Fox News, Woman ‘Started Screaming’

Fox News contributor Kat Timpf claims she was accosted in a bar this past weekend, and that the harasser instigated the clash because of Timpf’s affiliation with the network.

Appearing on Your World with Neil Cavuto Monday, Timpf claimed that a woman who was aware of her Fox News ties began berating her.

“Over the weekend I was at a bar,” Timpf said. “And a girl — she realized I worked at Fox News — she started screaming at me, telling me to get out. I tried to move to a different area of the bar. She kept screaming at me, telling me to get out. I kept trying to say, ‘What did I say that you had a problem with?’ I thought it was one of my views that was so offensive [to her]. She said it doesn’t matter. I don’t think she knew a single thing that I ever said on TV. She just knew where I worked. And that was enough for me to be run out of the bar.”

Timpf added that she feared that the encounter would turn violent.

“I was afraid she was going to hit me, or throw a drink at me,” she said. “She was super belligerent.”
