Michael Cohen Teases Good Morning America Interview: ‘My Silence is Broken!’

Former President Donald Trump personal lawyer Michael Cohen took to Twitter Sunday night to tease a new ABC interview with George Stephanopoulos.

“Spent Saturday afternoon with @GStephanopoulous @abc (not on camera) interview for Monday’s  @GMA. My silence is broken!” Cohen tweeted Sunday.

He added a picture of showing him seated with the ABC anchor.

Stephanopoulos confirmed the Good Morning America interview as well, tweeting out his own photo of the two in conversation.

It is not clear exactly how much Cohen intends to spill in the interview. However, the Trump lawyer has found himself at the center of a maelstrom due to his payment of $130,000 to adult film actress Stormy Daniels just prior to the 2016 presidential election.

He is also currently under investigation for bank fraud and campaign finance violations in the Southern District of New York.

There is also talk that Cohen may cooperate with investigators against Trump in Robert Mueller‘s investigation especially after it came to light that his former friend and he have not talked for a while.

“I haven’t spoken to Michael in a long time,” Trump told reporters in June. “No, he’s not my lawyer anymore, but I always liked Michael. And he’s a good person.”

The interview is set to air Monday morning on ABC.
