Weird Al Yankovic Would Love it If You Don’t Destroy His Hollywood Walk of Fame Star: ‘That’s Not Cool’
Weird Al has one request: "Please don't pickaxe my star. I know it's all the rage these days, but that's not cool. Unless at some point in the future, I do something unfathomably monstrous and evil in which case, sure, fine, okay, go ahead" pic.twitter.com/anFQn6lFla

Weird Al Yankovic is asking people to please not destroy his Hollywood Walk of Fame star…unless there’s a day where he’s responsible for something truly horrible, in which case, its a total free for all.
The parody icon spoke at the National Radio Hall of Fame on Monday as he received a new, honorary star for his critically-acclaimed work in musical comedy. During his speech, Yankovic took a moment to joke about how Walk of Fame stars have become objects of protest over the last few years.
“Please don’t pickaxe my star. I know it’s all the rage these days, but that’s not cool. Unless at some point in the future, I do something unfathomably monstrous and evil in which case, sure, fine, okay, go ahead. But anything short of that, please limit yourselves to spitting and urinating people. Have some class”
Yankovic was most likely referring to the critics who frequently deface Donald Trump‘s star on the Walk of Fame. The star was recently in the headlines again when, for the second time, it was destroyed by a vandal as an act of protest against the president.
