Ashton Kutcher And Demi Moore Defend Sarah Palin From Email Dump Persecution

The recent release of thousands of emails from the period in which Sarah Palin was governor of Alaska amounted to no surprises or scandals, and while the request was from 2008, the mainstream media is receiving plenty of heat from observers who considered the excitement over the release overkill. Among the unlikely supporters of Palin in this battle are stars Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, who took to Twitter to decry the email review as “repulsive.”

Moore and Kutcher, who have not exactly been vocal supporters of the former Republican Vice Presidential candidate, nonetheless objected to the several days of scrutiny the private correspondence received, and the attention that the anti-climatic events received irked Kutcher into defending Palin on Twitter, to which Moore retweeted and agreed.

Between this and Jon Stewart‘s relentless attack on the media for the same last night, it seems that this information request from 2008 may have been the best thing to happen to Palin’s favorability among prominent liberals in a long time.

Good for them!!! About time someone from Hollow-Wood spoke out! The left have made fools of themselves over Palin’s emails.

Oooops, I hope they had some contracts wrapped up or are fiscally solvent.

Otherwise they will be hurting for work.

    There she goes winning again.

  • Dem4Ever

He “Punked” us. No Lib or Prog will ever come to the defense of a fellow American if that American is Sarah Palin.

How cute from a couple no one cares about.

  • BarneyFranken

I think the media just got Punk’d.

  • Cecelia

Jon Stewart was just shooting the messenger over the tidings that they hadn’t found anything scandalous.

I never thought I would see the day when the Left Wing thought the MSM went too far.

All indications are that Kutcher was raised a Democrat.; he endorsed Obama in advance of the 2008 Iowa Caucus, but while Moore did campaign for Dukakis, she made a couple of high profile appearances at Republican conventions alongside Bruce Willis. So, it’s a little more difficult to get a handle on her politics, though since getting into the public eye, the record seems to indicate that she’s campaigned for more Republicans than Democrats over the years.

Nonetheless, both of them have had people going through their tweetstreams looking for some kind of gossip holy grail and they’re both of the stature that if their emails were to get hacked, there would be swarms wanting to go through them for every little nugget.

IOW: I don’t see it as a “lib” or “Dem” thing, rather two celebrities coming to the defense of a third in what was an overplayed segment of media history.

    Nice try Magister, they’re libs.

    I’m not trying anything.

I just said in response to a comment discounting Moore and Kutcher as two “libs” that Mrs. Kutcher’s political affiliation doesn’t appear to be cut and dry. I know that when I saw her and Bruce in a camera-friendly box seat at the ’92 GOP convention, I personally started categorizing her as a Republican and since then, I don’t know.

Though any way you look at it, whether she’s a Democrat or a Republican, they likely tweeted their feelings about the Palin email thing because their tweets and other communications are often put under a microscope.

Sarah Palin once took a Email Dump in the bathroom next to my kitchen.
It’s not something I like to talk about.

One of my favorite television shows in the past 10 years is the “Trailer Park Boys”.

“Regarding Palin, here’s an idea. There needs to be another season of the Canadian television series “Trailer Park Boys”. Sarah Palin, listen up. Sarah you will play Mr.Lehay’s new love interest. As the season progresses it becomes all about you taking over Sunnyvale trailer park, and your acting role will be one of descending into a alcoholic and meth induced madness. Bristol and Willow television roles will be of puck bunny daughters who move into the trailer park and cause further chaos. Palin, this role is you. The set will be a trailer park, should make you feel at home. Even you can take direction in this environment as it will come from your soul. And you will be too busy shooting episodes in Nova Scotia (sorry Nova Scotia, the needs of the many sometimes outweigh the needs of the few) to go around in your really annoying highway of hell bus tour or to run for President. You will get paid. Maybe you can buy another home, this time in Halifax, and you can tell people you see Europe from your house. And this reality I mean mockumentary show I will watch. It will almost be like an alternative version of “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” I may even buy the DVD.

Mike Clattenburg, please pick up the phone. Please….”

Yeah, they are facing lot of troubles because of email matter. But i have to say one thing that Actors are not politicians and I don’t understand why they have pull in politics when they can’t relate to the majority of Americans. We should also think about that point..

    I totally agree with Magister.

Fact: They agree with news media in most cases on the way they rip GOP personalities but they feel that it could very well turn on them as it might sense they broke silence on them now.

Who gets the Hashish in driveway? (From an episode)

You know Mr. Nature Freak, your continual change of photos, coupled with erratic, grandiose ramblings would make a career for a Psychologist.

Yes, I am actually suggesting the existence of a pathology in your behavior. What was once mildly amusing is now something to be concerned with.

    Oh yes,

Who are Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, and why do they matter?

  • Nature Freak

    THE INTERNATIONALE

Stand up, all victims of oppression
For the tyrants fear your might
Don’t cling so hard to your possessions
For you have nothing, if you have no rights
    Let racist ignorance be ended
For respect makes the empires fall
    Freedom is merely privilege extended
Unless enjoyed by one and all

    Chorus:
    So come brothers and sisters
    For the struggle carries on
    The internationale
    Unites the world in song
    So comrades come rally
For this is the time and place
    The international ideal
    Unites the human race

Let no one build walls to divide us
Walls of hatred nor walls of stone
Come greet the dawn and stand beside us
We’ll live together or we’ll die alone
In our world poisoned by exploitation
Those who have taken, now they must give
And end the vanity of nations
We’ve but one earth on which to live

And so begins the final drama
In the streets and in the fields
We stand unbowed before their armour
We defy their guns and shields
When we fight, provoked by their aggression
Let us be inspired by like and love
For though they offer us concessions
Change will not come from above

I am sorry you dislike my prose.
Also, I am an artist. Like many creative types I like to mess around with graphics. I am not uptight like you.

    NATUREFREAK,

MY sincere apologies. I misjudged you.

You might have noticed that I am bit of an eccentric too? (after all, I too watch Trailer Park Boys)
