Beyoncé New Years Rumors Continue: One More Link To Gaddafi Family
Yesterday, we asked: Did Beyoncé perform on New Year’s Eve for the family of Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi? Rumors had been slowly percolating that Beyoncé’s fabulous private New Year’s Eve performance at the exclusive Nikki Beach club on St. Barth was hosted by family members of Libyan dictator Col. Muammar Ghaddafi. Various of his sons are said to have held a similar New Year’s Eve bash at Nikki Beach for the past few years; last year, his son Moatessem-Billah Khadafy reportedly hired Mariah Carey to perform for $1 million.
Beyonce is rumored to have made $2 million to perform 5 songs, as we reported yesterday – and today comes one more report – sourced from someone at the party – that she did indeed make that sum – from Gaddafi:
That “private” event, MediaTakeOut.com confirmed from a party guest (who is also a celebrity), was held by the Khadafy family – the ruling family of Libya. As you may recall Khadafy and his family are accused of funding terrorists throughout the globe. And they accepted responsibility for the bombing of an airline flight – killing hundreds of people.
We still have not heard back from Beyonce’s publicist despite a further follow-up email, but it is looking more and more like our initial report – and conclusion – is being borne out.

Jackie says: No, they’re just reporting the same story that you’re. It’s funny how you’re not mentioning that in 2006 George Bush said that Libya was no longer considered a country that supported terrorism, that Libya is helping America fight terrorism and that he gave permission for American companies to do business with Libya. The European Union has also re-established diplomatic ties with Libya. This is still the official policy on Libya to this day.
It’s funny also that you left out all the American CEOs and executives that were at attendance at this party that are currently doing business or interested in doing business with Libya since President Bush had permitted and encouraged it.
Jackie says: Didn’t George Bush and his family do business with the “non terrorist” Bin Laden? This Hannibal Khadafy isn’t the one accused of supporting terrorism it’s his father. Now, the Bush administration doesn’t even consider Libya to be a supporter of terrorism any longer and again has encouraged Americans to do business with them. A lot of American corporations are doing just that.
Jackie says: Oh, I made a typo. I meant to say the Bush family did business with the “non terrorist” Bin Ladens. I guess you can’t hold awhole family accountable for what one member of their family did. Again, US government under Bush said that Libya was back on friendly terms with the US.

Conservative Bloggers Loved The CBO Before They Hated It
The Congressional Budget Office released its preliminary estimate of the Senate health care bill yesterday. Upon the report’s release, conservative bloggers and pundits began trying to discredit the CBO, saying that the office allows Democrats to cook the numbers and its estimates are often not a good indicator of reality. And if the CBO is so unreliable, then these bloggers wouldn’t cite it uncritically when it favors their positions, right?
