CNN And HLN Get Dueling Doc Short Winners Exclusives
The Best Documentary Short Oscars category has never been this exciting!
After Elinor Burkett Kanye’d Roger Ross Williams last night, each get their chance to explain what the hell happened in dueling cable news exclusives.
Salon talked to Burkett and Williams, and now each will get their shot to explain their side. Williams goes first, in an interview with CNN’s Larry King at 9pmET tonight. King tweeted: “The Oscar winner who got ‘Kanye’d’ last night will be on tonight to finish his acceptance speech!”
Tomorrow will be Burkett’s turn, in an interview – also at 9pmET – on HLN with Joy Behar. But secretly, we’re crossing our fingers Burkett shows up in King’s studio tonight…
