Game Changer? Adultery Website Ashley Madison ‘Endorses’ Newt Gingrich

Republican frontrunner Newt Gingrich has received an endorsement that he probably would’ve preferred kept a secret, like some other things in life. Ashley Madison, an online dating site specializing in extramarital affairs has endorsed the thrice-married former Speaker of the House, who remains haunted by his philandering past. “Now that Newt is the leading contender in the race for the GOP nomination, we felt compelled to make a point to illustrate how times have changed when a serial divorcee/adulterer is capturing the hearts of the American people,” said site founder Noel Biderman,

Biderman has erected a billboard in Pennsylvania with Gingrich’s likeness, and a headline reading “Faithful Republican, Unfaithful Husband’ with the former GOP speaker pictured making a shushing gesture.

Political blog The Morning Call was curious why the sign went up in the Keystone State, which doesn’t vote until April: “Biderman said Pennsylvania is the only state where new membership to the site — which opens “Life is short, Have an affair — did not decline this month.”

Wouldn’t it be great if the Department of Justice launched an investigation into the identities of all of the people who belong to Ashley Madison?  They could announce that Ashley Madison is suspected of supporting Al Queda, invoke the Patriot Act, and start issuing subpoenas!  How many political office holders, including members of the House and Senate,  would be forced to resign?

Newt has no clue what the term “Family Values” means!!

I know the headline is satirical, but I think I speak for America when I request an immediate moratorium on the word “game changer.”
Ever since Avatar, everything is a game changer.
Those mashed potatoes we had at dinner last week? Game changer.
That new line of jeans at The Gap? Game changer.

    Totally overused.

I know. That is soooo funny, and the Plaats guy in Iowa (Family Leader?) is still “undecided” whether to endorse Gingrich or not. What a bunch of fakers these people are.

‘Unfaithful husband, Faithful Republican.’ Ashley Madison

You just can’t make it up.

It sounds like one of the meanest and unflattering description you could wish for.

…It may be an endorsement that’s a difficult dodge for Newt.

How do you think he met his wife, Callista?

    Hmmm.

I am sure I will now be sensitive to this.
I and many I know have already reached this point with EPIC.
    It means nothing,
I usually avoid a story if epic is in the headline.

Its hard to describe the bewilderment I experience reading sanctimonious literary victory dances over Gingrich from the crowd who spent 8 years excusing Bill Clinton’s priapic adventures from Arkansas to DC. Many of the same folks in this crowd no doubt defended John Edwards to the bitter end and accused Glenn Beck of setting up Anthony Wiener, at the same time genuflecting before drunken philanderer Teddy Kennedy as the “conscience of the Senate”.

We knew from day one that Clinton was a hound, and watched the liberal left lionize a man who everyone knew lied through his teeth anytime the subject of his frequent dalliances was brought up, even turned a blind eye to several credible reports of actual sexual assault perpetrated by Clinton. And during the disgraceful Paula Jones/Monica Lewinsky incidents we watched his personal popularity and approval numbers never fall.

I won’t be nominating Gingrich for any husband of the year awards in the future but I have to shake my head at wonderment at the Left’s new found problem with adultery.

Unfaithful husbands do not raise many eyebrows, because it’s life nowadays.  Being a member of the sanctimonious conservative party while cheating on multiple wives (sick one too!) makes you a joke and eligible for your own billboard.

How true! The hypocrisy of the Democrat left is truly astounding! As far as we are concerned, they opened the door wide and gave a big green light to any and all extramarital issues and made the topic off-limits for criticism when they pontificated that it was “just a private matter,” and “none of our business” when it pertained to one of their own. For them to do a sudden 180° turn just now and feign moral opprobrium is completely lacking in honesty and credibility.

    They are literally unbelievable.

Yes of course because Bill Clinton John Edwards and Teddy Kennedy never held themselves up as special.  right.

Typical Leftist reasoning, our guy isn’t as bad because he never pretended to have any standards to live up to.

The greatest sin in the Leftists moral universe is apparently hypocrisy.
