Megyn Kelly Asks ‘Did CBS Use Justin Bieber To Smear Tea Party?’

video

The executives behind CBS’ hit cop drama CSI had a rather (evil?) genius idea for their season premier when they cast teen heartthrob Justin Bieber to play a troubled kid involved in a Tea Party-esque conspiracy. Not only did they help their ratings by likely addign loads of adoring teenage eyeballs, but they also knew that a news media outlet would provide free publicity surrounding the “controversy.” Enter Megyn Kelly, host of Fox News’ America Live, who did just that for a “fair and balanced” debate over the alleged Bieber exploitation by CBS.

In Kelly’s defense, she seems very self-aware in raising the ostensibly absurd topic. On the right she had on Lars Larson who alleged that this was a classic example of Hollywood script writers to “demonize average Americans.” Representing the left she had Leslie Marshall who defended the casting by saying that it was nothing more than a ratings stunt.

I can’t believe that anyone in Hollywood would have a bias against the tea party.

  • Big_F-ing_Deal

It’s hilarious that you don’t even have to mention the tea party, just show a bunch of ignorant, paranoid and violent retards and everyone knows who you are talking about.

  • writer

See? Another unbiased opinion. This story is made up!

  • felixw

What you will hear on MSNBC or CNN tonight:

“The tea party is not a real grassroots event. It is just a phony, contrived publicity stunt, invented by Fox News. it’s absolutely meaningless. And if you doubt that it is totally and completely unimportant just look at the ten thousand stories we have run attacking it over the last year. Now some might think that the very fact that we filled compelled to attack these events at least once every fifteen minutes on our broadcasts might indicate that the tea parties are important and influential, but I assure you that nothing could be further from the truth and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, yadda, yadda……..”

Fox is not a news organization, it is the mouthpiece of the Koch brothers and the far right fringe of the republican party. Megyn Kelly’s opinion on this subject means nothing. This is the same woman who played “F, Marry, Kill” with Howard Stern. She said she would sleep with Bill O’reilly, marry Sean Hannity and kill Glenn Beck. Her choice for Beck was the only good news there. Mark Montgomery NYC, NY.

But without Fox, what would balance out the far left bias of NBC and MSNBC?

That clip sounded like a left wing rally.

  • wube

Well I am alien to the far right-wing media orchestra as plays out on Faux. The guy is just confirming the actual truth that tea party is really the property of the mega-corporations, the Koch brothers and the like , and as such, they can’t criticise corporations;for him, and truly so, any critiques against corporations has to be from non-tea partiers. If he says the man in the movie sounds like an Obama-minded politician and not tea-partier, why talk about how CBS is deamining the tea party (turd party)? so much to fair and balanced . Why don’t they just scrap the “news” from foxnews? Well, ofcourse, a sizable gullible population floats them in the business, and really believe what they do is news. What a shame!

    HAHA! No doubt!

  • Azarkhan

That’s why I never watch police dramas, most of which are based in cities. On TV, most of criminals are white, even though in the real world most criminals are black or hispanic. And if the TV drama does have a black or hispanic criminal, the writers usually provide them with a good excuse for their actions.

To pretend that Hollywood doesn’t have a liberal bias is just plain stupid, and is easily disproved by listening to how those spoiled millionaires slam conservatives and the Tea Party. Another way Hollywood proves its bias is by the vast amount of money it donates to Democrats.

Has anyone being watching NBC’s new show “The Event?” They are promoting it by showing its premiere episode on OTHER cable networks.

It is interesting so far, despite some ridiculous illogical scenes, but not bad.

It is one of those series drams, like “24″ but I hope it has a better ending than the endings “24″ had. The endings of “24″ were completely anti-climatic.

Who cares? It just goes to show that “It takes one to know one” with regards to Tea Partiers. We’re not upset. There’s little reason to get upset, being smeared by a child in character has about as much effect as being smeared by a child or an adult acting like one.

Those too lazy to get off their asses and go ‘undercover’ themselves to ‘investigate’ the Tea Partier at a Tea Party event aren’t worth being considered. Tea Partiers know restoring Self Government is an uphill effort and are aware that some primates throw feces in lieu of having an argument for debate.

Reminds me of Van Jones trying to say that the Tea Party wants to ‘run your life’ when they get into office. The Tea Partiers want Gov’t out of your life, but I suppose that should be frightening to an adult with children who has always had Gov’t to suckle from.

You see alot of shows use real-life for a basis of a script. It was more of a stereotype thing. I watched it before I read anything about this and the first thought I had was OMGWTFLAZERCATS the tea party. The leader was telling them to obey the authorities though, they did have the ‘redneck with a gun’ theme though.

Remember, not everyone in California is liberal. Some just choose to remain quiet out of fear. Do I think some enjoyed the script as a pun? I sure as hell do, but it was just a show. Maybe they’ll use the ecoterrorist as the season finale LAWL

    How to speak Douchebag

Learning to speak “Douchebag” isn’t very hard. You can become fluent in Douchebag in no time at all by simply listening to the instructional examples put forth by the Democratic Party.

It’s so easy, even a “black widow” can do it.

Lesson One: When you encounter terms used by ObamaCare opponents like “23.7 trillion dollar deficit”, “tax increases”, “penalties for not buying government-controlled health care insurance”, “health care rationing”, “unfair burden on future generations”, “decline in the quality of health care”, and “have you actually read the bill?”, respond with the Douchebag repartee: You ‘bitter, gun-clinging, racist!’.

Lesson Two: If you’re having trouble convincing ObamaCare opponents that the STATE knows what’s good for them, resort to the ‘marginalization’ techniques practiced by Douchebags like Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.):

“They have ardent supporters who are nearly hysterical at the very election of President Barack Obama. The ‘birthers,’ the fanatics, the people running around in right-wing militias and Aryan support groups, it is unbearable to them that President Obama should exist.”

    And Harry Reid:

    “lies, innuendo and rumor”…”evil-mongers!”

And Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer:

“These disruptions are occurring because opponents are afraid not just of differing views — but of the facts themselves. Drowning out opposing views is simply un-American.”

Ignorant Tea Party rednecks need to understand that disrupting the facts and differing views of real American Douchebags, is un-American.

Lesson Three: Don’t be discouraged when one of them points to the SEIU’s influence over policy, or the special interest groups tied to ObamaCare like PHARMA, AMA, and the AARP. Just use the Douchebag axiom: “You hate Obama because he’s our first Black President, you racist!”

Lesson Four: When a Tea Party protester objects to the government coming in between them and their health care choices, tell them they’re just “paranoid” and some kind of “KKK kook”.

If all else fails, use the standard: It’s all BUSH’s fault!” or “You know why? Shut up, that’s why!”

Douchebag…because the reality of patriotic Americans who oppose socialism and support the U.S. Constitution, is just too hard to deal with.
