Brian Williams has more or less been in hiding since NBC News gave him a six month suspension for lying about his wartime experience in Iraq. But this morning, his daughter, actress Allison Williams, appeared at a New York Fashion Week event at the Michael Kors store in Soho. And her publicist wanted everyone to know she would not be answering questions about her father.

“Please note that Allison Williams will only be answering questions pertaining to Michael Kors, fashion and Girls,” the publicist said in an email posted by the New York Observer. “We request that no questions about her personal life be asked.”

And according to one report from USA Today, Williams did not even agree to talk about those topics that weren’t off limits. “Williams smiled, took snaps of the clothes, but declined to talk to this reporter. No surprise there, really,” Donna Freydkin wrote.

She did, however, post an Instagram selfie with Kate Hudson, thanking everyone for their “love and support”:
