Sarah Palin Cheats With Her Hand For Tea Party Convention Talking Points

video

Cheatgate? Handgate? Oldschoolkidtacticsgate? Whatever this winds up being called, it’s a strange and embarrassing new turn in the Sarah Palin saga. It seems that during her keynote speech at last night’s Tea Party Convention, the former governor used the inside of her hand to scribble notes reminding her of talking points, including “energy,” “budget cut,” “tax,” and “lift American spirits.” During the Q&A after her speech, you can see Palin glancing down to reference her list, mere moments after attacking President Obama for his use of a teleprompter.

The Huffington Post has the above photo (and more) showing what is pretty clearly policy-based “crib notes,” which supplied assistance to Palin in answering what were likely pre-approved questions from an ally unlikely to pull any “gotcha!” moments. Katie Couric was, as far as we know, not in the building. You can see more photos of the soon-to-be infamous ink below or by following this link.

Here’s an already viral TwitPic by @jryanlaw of Palin during the Q&A:

And here’s the video, with Palin’s glance down highlighted:

OMG ITS A SCANDAL!!! Too funny.

Arienna had her blue notes cards sitting on her lap for her appearance on Reliable Sources today. She CHEATED! OH NO ITS A SCANDAL. She wanted to make sure she had her points at the ready, so Arienna brought her notes cards. SHAME ON ARIENNA, SHE HAD HER CRIB NOTES WITH HER.

NOTEGATE AT HUFFPO; ARRIENA CHEATED ON AIR TODAY; OLSCHOOLTACTICSGATE ON ARIENNA.

There is movie that was made sometime around 1980 called Being There. These are the times we live in; we now have our very own Chance the Gardener and her name is Sarah Palin. Seriously, the movie is well worth seeing, and is nearly as funny as this.

  • roxsteady

Thanks Joe! I knew you’d have to post this after I attacked the link! As I said, at least now, we know how she got through all 5 colleges!

  • http://sarainitalyblog.blogspot.com/ sarainitaly

you know how everyone is now looking at Olby and finally realizing he is becoming unhinged?

that’s how people are beginning to look at all those who attack Palin. They are completely unhinged, and no one will care anymore.

I wrote in the other thread – so what? she wrote down three points she wanted to make sure she made – an outline if you will – “energy,” “tax cuts” “and “lift American spirit.”

I think three key talking points, an outline, is a far cry from using two teleprompter to give a five minute speech.

  • disgusted

That is STILL Better than “using” a ‘telelprompter’ – to READ the words that SOMEONE else – SUPPLIED!

I am going to do a SARAINITALY and post this copy and paste. I think it is well worth reading for all of you serious Palin lovers. Thanks to you pc1140,

    Dear Palin Supporters
I’ve spent my morning reading and Mrs. Palins overpaid tea-party speech as well as many of her other speeches to try and understand the mindset of her supporters.

Unfortunately I can’t figure you out. Your blind support of this woman truly baffles not only Americans but the international community as well. Over the past year she has been caught telling over 30 lies and have misled you on multiple issues ranging from the Economy to healthcare. Yet like sheep you follow her blindly.
I recently watched a video that showed that many of you couldn’t explain your blind faith in her as well.
Many of you have said that she will “make America great again” yet her criticisms of President Obama and lack on knowledge on the basic issues that America faces should be enough to show you that her IQ is on par with a simian at best.

Rather then take responsibility for her mistakes on basic issues, she blames the mainstream media for calling her out, while claiming the answer to all of Americas problems are common sense solutions.
What are these solutions that she speaks of and why is she keeping them a secret?

I challenge all Palinites to respond to this post by, instead of attacking, tell why you support her. Give intelligent reasons for your support. Lift the embarrassment that she has brought to Americans. Prove to the world that you are not blind sheep following this false profit.

P.S. I agree that all of this “notes on her hand” stuff is crazy. This is truly picking on her for the sake of picking on her. Silly children stuff. I am more interested in the answers you have to the above post.

  • JimW

Sarainitaly is spot-on once again: this Palin Derangement Syndrome is doing nothing but galvanizing her supporters and making her attackers seem more than a little unhinged.

  • roxsteady

Her empty talking points lacked any actual policy solutions but, I wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss her cribb notes. The President didn’t use any during his Q&A and he hadn’t received any questions in advance. He was able to think about those questions and remember his discussions with his cabinet, taking all comers. She however, couldn’t even remember answers to questions she’d received in advance. This woman is a complete fraud. Her arrogance in even thinking she could be President is a blatant diplay of her stunning ignorance and lack of self awareness. And I didn’t have to look at my hand to type that. It just popped into my head!

  • roxsteady

Actually, unhinged is exactly how the teabaggers looked. Although, if you saw Dudd Gregg attack 2 MSNBC female anchors last week or Susan Collings during her interview with Andrea Mitchell, you’d really know what unhinged looks like. The GOP and the teabaggers will help destroy each other with the Queen of the Cribb notes as their leader. In was very highschool and so is facebook!

  • TeaPartyAmerican

Like I said before, this Convention was a JOKE and did not represent the Tea Party movement! Sarah go home

  • SWWT

That’s pretty hilarious, but in all honesty it’s not any different than using a note card and whole lot better than reading from a prepared statement.

But still, I went LOL when I saw that.

I like her. I am not a blind faith supporter. I defend her against inhumane, irrational and unfair attacks. I am reading her book, and find it interesting. Do I think she should run in 2012? No. She shouldn’t have quit her Governorship, or she should have moved down to the lower 48 and ran for Congress or something, to get more experience. Does she have more experience than Obama did? Yes. Does she give a good speech? Yes. Yet, Obama was elected because he gave good speeches, and has quit every job he has had to move on to another. But Palin is attacked for moving on.

The blind faith some have for her is nothing different, if not less so, than those who supported Obama. I don’t see people fainting at her rallies, or people whispering, *I love you, Sarah* with glazed over eyes at rallies.

She has been caught telling over 30 lies? such as?

ALL pols have been caught telling lies, mis-truths, and exaggerations. Obama told some whoppers during the primary, debates, and now as President. I don’t see all of his die hard followers faltering in their worship. She also did a great job in the VP debate, and Biden made major gaffes, and told some lies, but yet she was attacked as the stupid one? She also had about two weeks to prepare – Biden and Obama had, what? Two years on the trail. She was attacked unfairly, and many of those were sexist, and downright hideous.

I support her because she was a popular gov, asked to serve her country, and went through HELL to try and serve for her country. And she was grossly attacked because of it. If she runs in 2012 would I support her? That depends entirely on how she does, her platform, and what she campaigns on. And if she is the nominee. Am I pushing her to run? No.

Her criticisms of Obama are quite accurate and valid. Obama supporters hail him as the smartest president, evah but COMPLETELY overlook ALL of his gaffes, blunders, mistruths, flipflops, and lies. And his MAJOR dependency on TOTUS.

What embarrassment has she brought to America? The embarrassment is with those who went to the polls believing the SNL version of Sarah Palin. (and they did) The embarrassment is with those in the media who lied, created scandals, edited her interviews to support their liberal bias, attacked her unfairly, and supported the numerous false attacks on her. The embarrassment lies with those who brought false ethics charge after ethics charge against her, wasting tax payer dollars trying to bring her down. The embarrassment lies with the MSM who challenged her children, vetted her clothing, and makeup, but completely failed when it came to vetting Obama. The embarrassment lies with those who attack her but turn a blind eye to Obama.

So, what I would like to know is, why the blind support of Obama? Because that truly baffles the other half of America.

Lots of people have jotted something down on their hand when a piece of paper isn’t handy. It’s pretty common. Of course, that’s what the left despises. Common people.

I also noticed a wedding ring on her hand. After some research, I discovered she’s married to a white male, obviously indicating she’s a racist homophobe.

While this may be good fodder for the Huffington Post, Gawker, Kos, TPM and other sites, why is this a headline on a site that wishes to serve media insiders?

I’m sure you realize that when SNL makes fun of Palin, they’re reading from cue cards and when Jon Stewart teases Obama, he’s using a teleprompter. The same can be said for any MSNBC anchors who might salivate over this non-issue and those on Fox who’ll belittle their choice.

I’ll supply the headline: Sarah Palin’s all white family kills and eats Alaskan’s thinning black population!! More after the jump.

They’ll say it comes from an “inside source” close to the Palins.

  • blueblogger

SARAINITALY At least you act like a rational person on here. I must admit that you may be right about some of the Obama supporters. Some probably voted for him just because he is BLACK. Many more just because he is educated and so on and so on. I don’t doubt that at all. However, having said that there are probably many people that would vote for Palin because of her looks and that really neat wink.

Let’s face it the electoriate on BOTH sides vote for stupid reasons without any knowledge of what they are really voting for. I am sure there are women out there that will vote for her just because Hillary lost the election. So it is a small minority of voters that vote because they have done research and listened and decide on the issues that affect themselves. I will admit it I took into account the tax break since I am a senior citizen and on a fixed income and others which I will spare you the details. Believe it or not I gave GW the benefit of the doubt when he came into office. Even though I did not like the way he did it. I lived in PA and it was a known fact that Ohio was as crooked as Florida was. OK we are past that and on we go. It took me until the Iraq war to really change my mind. I have a deep belief that most pols on both sides are all corrupt. It is just to what extent. I never like Hillary but I loved Bill C as a president. The one thing I DO believe is that Obama is right when he says he feels like he can do right by the people of this country. All pols start out like that. I am disappointed in who he has chosen to surround himself with also. I also don’t believe that the majority of the people in this country are racists and that many are being racists when they critize Obama. The right would do that to any Democrat in the White House.

I am going to hang in there for a little time and see how things go. But if someone comes along that I feel is more acceptable to me regardless of party I would consider voting for I will regardless of party. But I can tell you it WON’T be Palin.

PDS is alive and well on mediate, huffpo, and the left in general.

Q: How do you combat terrorism?
    A. WE WIN!!!!!!!

Silly, typical rebel rousing Palin stuff…take it seriously at your own risk. There is nothing behind the curtain.

Palin said “I am proud to be an American” 20 times and kept looking down at crib notes on HER HAND!!!! C’mon!

For 100 grand Palin should at least memorize her propaganda.

How rich that she read her talk in a sing-song voice as she ripped Barack Obama for using a Teleprompter. Once she left the speech for the Q&A, she really went off-message, as well as nearly off-English. (Even though it looked like, at one point, she was reading answers off of her hand.) “They’re not knowin what are we gonna do if we don’t have Tea Party support” was one of my favorite head-scratchers, a great echo of “when Putin rears his head.”

  • timzank

DEO sez: “For 100 grand Palin should at least memorize her propaganda.” Wouldn’t it be fair to ask The President Of The United States Obama do the same? Do you guys ever read your comments after you write them to see if they make sense? You should start doing that.

  • tigerprez

Obviously, this woman’s career is over now. How much more can the American people take of her lies and deceit? She wasn’t born with those words on her hand, so she’s obviously a liar! Handgate is roughly 100x worse than Watergate, and if there’s any justice in the world, the next words childishly scrawled on her hand will be her prepared statement for her trial for crimes against the American people. Jail her already!

A teleprompter, a notecard, an earpiece — these are all exceptible. Words on a hand = career over.

And when you have almost the entire weight of the TV news, talking heads, newspapers and Hollywood supporting Obama/the Left, they influence those people, and that isn’t really fair, is it? How many people supported Obama because Hollywood said he was cool and how many hated Palin because they believed the Tina Fey caricature? And how many called Tancredo racist because he said basically the same thing you just did?

“I never like Hillary but I loved Bill C as a president.” Why don’t you like Hillary?

TfT – I must assume then that you have a nasty case of PSUS; Palin Suck-Up Syndrome. By the way, do see Being There, the parallels are really quite amazing. And, I understand she is selling 8 x 11 autographed photos posed next to Jesus Christ himself; they sell for $29.95, hurry, they are going fast (batteries not included).

  • Cactus

    Whoooosh.

It’s not that she wrote notes in her hand — heck, most of us have done that at some point or another to combat the fear of public speaking. It’s that she used her manuprompter just after attacking Obama for using a teleprompter. It’s not that her being a hypocrite is newsworthy on any level… it’s just mildly amusing.

And to say that only “lefties” and “libtards” get ulcers from Sarah Palin is wrong on two levels — one, I voted for McCain in the primary and was set to vote for him; I ended up voting for Obama as a vote against her being anywhere near the White House. Her sophistic rhetoric is an insult to the intelligence of pretty much everyone but the Hannity/Beck/Limbaugh “faithful”.

Two, it’s not so much her per se… Orly Taitz is much more offensive of a “public figure”, for instance. It’s more the fact that tens of millions of people still think that she’s what America needs and that’s she’s suited to be President. She is as devoid of actual ideas to move the country forward, and generally as full of fecal matter, as Ann Coulter or her lefty counterpart Janeane Garofalo. Yet, here’s the pedestal her fans put her on, as if this woman has anything to offer the nation’s political discourse… I just can’t wrap my head around that.

  • puck30

    Oh! Joe! Joe!

I don’t know if you watch football, but many quaterbacks put their plays (in code of course) on their wrist bands. That’s not cheating.

The number one voice for the lib sect. Olbermann needs a teleprompter so he can say all those ‘One Dollar’ words. And I don’t call that cheating.

Obama seems lost without a teleprompter, and when they do get around to putting pronunciations next to words he has trouble with. (like corps man). I won’t call that cheating.

So, because Palin wants to put a few words on the palm of her hand, you want me to call cheating?

Who is ‘dumber than a box of rocks’ (your buddy Olby’s words, not mine) Joe?

  • WaterLoo

HAHAH. Well, you see, MSNBC has Joe Scarborough on in the morning which obviously means their unbiased, fair and balanced, and NOT “in the tank” for Barry. Clearly, Joe Scarborugh’s show and presence in the morning (which no one watches) , negates the lack of opposing views in the prime time lineup of Maddow & Olbermann. Obviously, when you say the “entire weight of the TV news” is “supporting Obama/the Left” you CANNOT include MSNBC because they have Joe Scarborugh.

HAHAH what a joke of an argument. People really attempt to play the MSNBC is “unbiased” card with this JUNK. Who are they kidding???

  • WaterLoo

@Cactus- I’m not sure I understand this REASONING. Why were people more concerned about the experience of a Vice President (being a state governor) than the President himself (community organizer)? Do you think if the D and R were switched in these candidates names, Barry’s experience would be a bigger issue? I mean COMMUNITY ORGANIZER. This whole debate is stupid. A couple of bullets written on the palm of her hand is not the same as being told what to say word for word from TOTUS. And the GOP Q7A wasn’t that great. He made the his lame straw man arguments to answer every single question. Big whoop. The most telling thing that came out of the Q&a was him admitting that the Democrat health care reform bill would in fact keep you from keeping your current health insurance and doctor. With him admitting that he ceded that him and every other Democrat had been straight face lying. He gave the GOP a devastating add for the mid-term elections.

And you wanna compare that to 3 points on a hand in one appearance? ?? That’s a really stupid thing to do on your part isn’t it? You can’t be that stupid can you?

@homie: I don’t care enough about Palin to watch her speech, but I saw the 14-second clip of her Obama “slam” in the Gawker post about this “scandal” last night and all I saw was her referring to him as “a charismatic guy with a teleprompter”. Perhaps she spent twenty minutes eviscerating Obama on the subject, I didn’t see, but all I’ve seen clipped was an applause line that she had probably worked on for a week.

And again, I saw this on Gawker late last night. I saw it when it first went up around 1AM and then, I looked at it again after it was updated with video from Huffington Post. Since last night, I’ve probably revisited that thread four times to laugh at some of the comments. I have no problem with the Huffington Post questioning her or Gawker making fun; My comment was about the propriety of doing it, here.

  • mcf1757

“And I think that some of the provisions that got snuck in might have violated that pledge.” I think might is the key word!
Timzank: I was not comparing this event and the 2yr governor notes. My point is that President not just on that occasion, but in all the interviews the President did throughout the year, had a firm grip on all facts and isn’t reading off a teleprompter. But I don’t expect you to give him any credit for any of those! Can you name me a President who haven’t had speech writers?

  • WaterLoo

Fact Spinner- No one is alleging Presidents don’t have speech writers.

  • roxsteady

The President writes his speeches with Jon Favreau. No, not the actor. Look it up! Palin wrote one speech and it was her resignation speech. Notice anything different with the rest of her speeches and facebook posts? I’m sure you do.

  • mcf1757

Well shut up about it, all politicians read speeches, whether it be from a teleprompter, note cards or as in the case of the 2 year governor, on her hands! It just happens that President can do it better than the rest!

  • http://www.sailrabbits.com Magister

@homie: BTW) Is it “ironic” for Jay, Dave or Jon to make a teleprompter joke and then reference their cards to see what was covered in the pre-interview for their first guest?

And what do you call it, when all of the news networks carried live coverage of a former Governor/political pundit’s speech and other outlets have posted the video? Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee and everybody else considering a run, plus poor Glenn Beck, who can’t get his own network to broadcast his weekend outings are probably beside themselves with jealousy.

According to MSNBC, Palin is both completely insignificant and a huge threat to the world… all at the same time. How exactly does that work?

  • sueNaustin

Sarah Palin reads 3 talking points (actually 4, but one looks marked through) after mocking President Obama’s use of the teleprompter. Those point were: taxes (a Republican point), energy (a Sarah Palin point), and Lift American Spirits (a nice point). I expect those should not need to be cribbed.

A president needs to give cogent pertinent accurate speeches day after day, many of them quite a few words in length, and it is very important they are not strung together like word salad. I don’t expect a President to get up on stage and freelance it like he is at some hoe-down. I do expect him to remember the basic subject at hand, though.

Maybe we should spend more time holding him accountable for his words and not worrying about what Palin writes on her hands. – exactly. That’s what I was talking about in my reply to blueblogger…. They just don’t get it.

Joe Klein has the best take on this:

    Palin
Posted by JOE KLEIN Sunday, February 7, 2010 at 12:32 pm

As Jay Newton-Small notes below, Sarah Palin inked some crib notes on her hand in preparation for her “big” speech to the Tea Party soiree. This has caused glee and derision in the left-wing blogosphere (as has her rather, well, unsubtle wearing of a joint US-Israeli flag pin). I have no problem with either gesture. Karl Eikenberry, our Ambassador in Kabul, has been known to wear a joint US-Afghanistan pin; Christopher Hitchens, perpetual provocateur, wears a US-Kurdistan pin; I’ve been known to wear a green tie when discussing Iran on television. As for the crib notes, all politicians use bullet points. Some use teleprompters. It doesn’t matter what you crib. It matters what you say.

And that’s where I have a problem with Palin: what she said was drivel. No, let me amend that: it was anti-intellectual drivel. Obama is a bad Commander-in-Chief because he’s a…law professor. No matter that this bad Commander-in-Chief has taken more concerted and aggressive action against Al Qaeda–more drones, more covert actions in Yemen and Somalia, more support for Pakistani military campaigns agains the Taliban, more troops for Afghanistan–than the baseball team owner who proceeded him in office. He’s a law professor. He’s a member of the elite. Which has come to be a term of opprobrium among the nitwit populists of the right–unquestioned, increasingly, by would-be conservative intellectuals like Bill Kristol and assorted Podhoretzs. I’m sure there’s an aphorism somewhere–readers, please help–about the fate of great nations that celebrate ignorance and denigrate contemplative thought.

Yesterday, a commenter asked if there was any form of populism that I could support. The answer is yes: democracy. But populism, as a movement, has a sorry history–it emanates from anger and often ignorance, and quickly devolves into bigotry and hatred. Occasionally, populism will produce some good ideas: the populist movement of the 1890′s gave birth to many of the progressive reforms–the income tax, the federal reserve system, women’s suffrage–that were enacted in the first 20 years of the last century. Ross Perot’s fiscal hissy-fits led to the balanced budgets that Bill Clinton and the Republican Congress produced in the 1990s. The current populist movement could provoke badly needed financial regulatory adjustments.

Neither of these are worth bragging about. Unless this populist movement results in a constitutional amendment that states all future presidents and congress balance the budget (and would be nice if both the income tax and federal reserve were abolished), then the whole thing is a waste.

  • tigerprez

This is arguably the biggest scandal since the Holocaust. Can’t we all just agree that Palin is unfit for elected office and should have her children taken from her? That much is obvious.

Why would a Republican need to write on their hand “tax cut”?

    ————————————————————————————————

For the same reason Obama needed TOTUS for 12 months to spew the same talking points for his health care bill. Sometimes politicians just need a reminder of what to say.

Mine was a reasonable question, and I do not think yours is — please do not take offense. President Obama gives speeches every day, and to stay on point for the variety of them he does need the teleprompter (not exactly a new invention that came onboard with the Obama administration). But it would be very interesting if I saw a palm shot of Obama’s hand that read “heath care”.

  • sueNaustin

HA! “Health” care, not heath care .. I normally would not need to explain that typo, but in this Mediaite crowd, sure.

  • http://www.sailrabbits.com Magister

I touched upon this earlier, but now I’m going to rephrase it as a direct question; What was the “news” justification for broadcasting Ms. Palin’s speech and why hasn’t that been discussed on this site?

  • http://www.sailrabbits.com Magister

BTW: I’m just going to go ahead and answer my rhetorical… Fox’s viewers wanted it and it was good for their ratings; MSNBC wanted to have video with their logo, so they could make fun of it and include clips in future reports, while CNN didn’t want to be accused of ignoring it.

Palin yesterday at a rally for Governor Perry in TX, in big letters writes:

I’m sure we are all shocked. Normally, the Resigned Governor of Alaska is highly ethical. The tanning bed. Todd overseeing judicial appointments and energy contracts, Alaskans paying for personal travel for her children, wild shopping sprees on others’ credit cards …. It’s absolutely Nixonian in its breadth, if not its depth.

  • bferman

Come on! Palin jotting down a note (and later referring to it) during a speech is not the same as Obama’s ongoing dependence on the almighty teleprompter. Obama even used a teleprompter to address a small group of high-school kids! How can you not call him out on that?
In the run-up to the election, all of them took notes during the debates and then referred to them when it was their turn to speak. No one complained about taking notes then.
Can you imagine how absurd it would have been if Obama tried to use his teleprompter during a debate? It would be quite absurd and that just goes to show how using a teleprompter and taking notes cannot be compared in this way.
The left is really reaching on this story and that tells me Obama’s use of the teleprompter really bothers them more than it does the right.

  • liberalontogeny

Well many of you set the standard pretty high for politicians speaking with/without note cards, palm writing and teleprompters. I suspect many of you will be more and more disappointed with the politicians because they all have advisors, they all get emails on policy from others, they all get helped being briefed on topics, they all use teleprompters, they all practice before any big speech, they all are helped in what words to say and what topics should be addressed in a speech

They all get help with answers and how to answer when practicing for a debate. If you want to worry about teleprompters and palm text, you should really worry about who’s whispering sweet nothings into your politicians ears with regularity.

I can tell that you are racist, because everything defense for Palin is a negative note for Obama. Since he has been in the white house there has been no sex scandal or anything to disrupt this administration. Other countries even respect this nation now. Where were you when W. Bush was wrecking the country for 8 years? Obama is in there trying to clean up his mess. You haven’t even given him a chance. Do you think he can go in and clean up 8 years of mistakes in a year? Pointing out Obama’s faults, even if it’s to deflect attention from Palin is not racist. That is politics. All politicians on both side do. All news junkies do it. Liberal’s do it. Conservatives do it. You just did it. To take attention off of all the crap Obama is doing you are blaming Bush. If I was a believer in the Jessie Jackson School Of Debate, like you obviously you are, my response would be something like this: Cynthia Alexander, you are a racist!

See how stupid that is? That is how you look. Stupid.Take that crap somewhere else. Empty charges of racism do not work anymore and are so 1990′s. Glad to see the Jessie Jackson School Of Debate is alive and well though. It makes for a laughable morning trip through blogosphere. Obama spending more money and running up more debt than every other president in history is no way to clean up the mess we find ourselves in now. You can close your eyes and wish it true all you want but it wont work.

  • liberalontogeny

This reminds me of that ol’ game:

“My Dad is better than your Dad?” In this case, my mom/dad is better than your mom/dad? For me writing ‘notes’ on palm of hand or using a teleprompter is of very little consequence as it relates to ‘our’ lives.

I worry about how they would or are governing that impact my family’s life.

This is a distraction for the purposes of distracting and to demonize someone you already disagree with. ‘Already’ was the key word there. Critique poltician, great. Throw criticism toward politician, no problem.

‘Demonizing’ Pres. Obama use of teleprompter is worse than his use of a teleprompter. By Far. Demonizing Palin for palm text is worse that her use of having notes on her palm. By Far.

I’ll go out on a limb and state most politicians in a Q&A or speech are just as much messenger as they are having the message.

sarainitaly, You are as dumb as Palin. – wow, a personal attack. How very mature of you.

She can’t even use a copier machine. SNL descibed her right. I lived in Alaska and I never saw Russia from my house. – She never said you can see Russia from her house. She said you can see Russia from land in Alaska. This is a true statement. Go check out a map. Palin can’t use a copy machine? Where did that come from?
You can read what Palin actually said: http://newsbusters.org/blogs/brad-wilmouth/2009/11/18/abc-brings-i-can-see-russia-my-backyard-palin-interview

If you were to question her like Katie Couric did; with out advance notes; she would crumble and beg for her dose of Paxil. – Have you seen the entire unedited version of that interview?

I can tell that you are racist, because everything defense for Palin is a negative note for Obama. – Whoop there it is! Whoop there it is! Another race card! Shocker!!! HIS SKIN COLOR HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. I criticized Bush ALL the time, and last time I checked Bush isn’t black. Please, step away from the race card – it doesn’t mean anything any more. All it does is diminish Obama as an equal. To equate criticism of Obama to racism is the only defense people have who have no defense. What if I called you racist and a bigot because of your attacks on Sarah Palin? Do you hate white people? Do you hate white women? I think you hate white women who live in Alaska! (see how dumb that is?)

Since he has been in the white house there has been no sex scandal or anything to disrupt this administration. – Wow, good for him. One whole year an NO sex scandal! He should pat himself on the back. One whole year!! Because we all know Democrats don’t usually make it that long….

Other countries even respect this nation now. – like who? Iran? France? North Korea? Venezuela? Cuba? Italy?

Where were you when W. Bush was wrecking the country for 8 years? – I was complaining about Bush for 8 years. I never voted for Bush, and was never a fan of Bush. Where were you while Obama was voting to fund the war, and where were you when Obama was urging Bush/Congress to pass a stimulus bill to bail out the auto industry? Where were you when Obama was taking huge donations from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and kept the regulators off their backs? Where were you when Obama was neglecting his duties, and never held one single Senate hearing on Afghanistan. Where were you when Obama voted for the Senate version of the Wall Street bailout bill despite language that could be used by officials to limit contracting opportunities for minority and woman-owned businesses?

Obama is in there trying to clean up his mess. You haven’t even given him a chance. Do you think he can go in and clean up 8 years of mistakes in a year? He’s not superman and you are following blindly a dummy in wool. – Did you read my post above about my feelings on Palin? sarainitaly says: February 7, 2010 at 12:42 pm Perhaps you should go back up and read that. Do you not hold then Senator Obama, and the Democtac controlled Congress at all responsible for their roll in any of this mess – their support of the Iraq resolution, the funding, the bailouts, deregulation of FM/FM, the collapse of the housing bubble that was caused by bad loans….?

Any black person who didn’t like Bush was obviously against him because he was white. This was “racism straight up”, as Janenne Garofalo would say.

  • http://enewsalerts.com enewsalerts

Most people giving speeches have notes somewhere so they don’t miss any major points. There is a difference between a few notes and needing a teleprompter to know what to say. Making some kind of comparison shows true desperation to make Palin look bad. Ironically this is done by attempting to make her appear like Obama. The contrasting speech styles only reveals she is on a higher intellectual level.
