Trump Campaign Responds to Daily Beast Report, Spokesman’s Rape Comments
Donald Trump‘s campaign has now responded to the Daily Beast report about Trump’s ex-wife’s past rape allegation and controversial remarks by Trump’s own special counsel.
The report brings up an allegation by Ivana Trump many years ago about her husband that he raped her (which she later walked back a bit in a statement), but what’s getting even more attention tonight is Trump spokesman Michael Cohen saying that legally speaking, “you can’t rape your spouse.”
ABC News producer John Santucci tweeted out a response from Trump’s campaign:
