Bill O’Reilly #1, Glenn Beck & Sean Hannity Split #2 Thursday Night
Cable news ratings, September 24, 2009: Check out the highlights, and see the full ratings below:
• Bill O’Reilly’s 8pmET Fox News show was once again the top cable news program Thursday night, in both total viewers and the A25-54 demographic. The #2 show was a split – Glenn Beck’s 5pmET show was 2nd in total viewers while Sean Hannity’s 9pmET show was #2 in the demo.
• CNN’s Larry King had the top non-FNC show in the demo, while MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann had the top non-FNC show in total viewers.

Obama’s National Security Chief Of Staff Goes ‘Nucular’

After years of the cringe-worthy pronunciation of nu-cu-lar during the Bush White House, it seemed like we finally had an administration who had a litmus test in staffing their National Security detail - pronounce the word "nuclear." Not so. During an interview to discuss Iran's weapons program with MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell today, National Security Chief of Staff Denis McDonough definitely uttered the term Nucular. Gotcha! Governor David Paterson Rebuffs Rumors Of His Imminent Resignation
Embattled New York Governor David Paterson spoke publicly today about rumors of an impending scandal the imminent resignation that would come as a result.
