This morning on the Today Show, weekend anchor Lester Holt unveiled his Halowe’en costume: Susan Boyle. It was…impressive! So impressive that even Piers Morgan would have flirted with him. Amy Robach was Simon Cowell, looking a little like Natalie Portman with her fetching pixie boy-cut. Adorbs. Watch and find yourself oddly stirred here:
It should be noted that tonight, Lester Holt will assume his regular position as the weekend anchor of NBC Nightly News as well, besuited and serious and filled with gravitas. I wish I could go back in time 3 years to all the people flapping their gums over Katie Couric and show them this clip.
