Maddow: No One from NBC Will Talk to Us On-Air About Brian Williams
MSNBC has been shying away from the Brian Williams fiasco, so to speak, but Rachel Maddow led with Williams’ immediate suspension from NBC News. And she didn’t hide how perturbed she was by her network overlords not letting anyone talk to her about this big news.
Maddow explained how the whole corporate umbrella thing works before revealing to viewers, “No, NBC News will not make anyone available to discuss this story with us on the air.”
And it was clear this really bothered Maddow:
“You’d think that if they’re going to talk to anybody about this, we might reasonably get a leg up on getting interviews with any NBC News executives to explain this decision if only because we’re right down the hall.”
