Never Fear, CBS’ Bob Schieffer Is Here, With A Holiday Political Poem
With Christmas over, it’s nice to see at least one person eager to extend the good cheer just a little longer before everyone returns to serious politics as usual. On this morning’s Face the Nation, host Bob Schieffer presented a lengthy and smile-inducing holiday poem that summed up recent headlines:
POTUS was out running hard in the tropical sand,
birth certificate clutched real tight in his hand.
Can’t be too careful he told his wife’s mother,
Arizona police might be here undercover.
