So, approx. 3 M watched the 2nd episode, TLC must be thrilled. For TLC that’s huge numbers, to say they collapsed is silly. TLC is made for marathons and repeated showings. Sunday nights are a touch night with regular shows AND sunday night football, 3M is huge numbers. Good for the Palins and TLC. I forgot it was even on.

3M is good numbers for a network like TLC. Context is also important. Most shows lose viewers following the premiere, especially if said premiere has been hyped up and received lots of media attention. For example, HBO’s Boardwalk Empire lost 31% of its viewers from the first episode to the second. The show is still a great success though.

No, and that’s clearly not rational thought for selecting the most powerful person in the world. Neither is the new “conspiracy” that some leftest groups want her to be the GOP candidate because “they” think she will surely loose. Going by “their” mindset, that’s a pretty big risk to take. Look how much the electoral map changed after only two years on November 2. What will “we all” do if this “conspiracy” backfires on “them.”

If Palin runs and makes it to the general election, I’ll judge her by her campaign platform, her public service record and not anything else. I probably won’t vote for her against Obama, but a lot of the “liberal thought” I get exposed to here and at other more prominent media outlets certainly doesn’t encourage me to vote Democratic. For every one Blower here, there are about ten LeviCoults.
