West is right. There is no discrimination. I served in the Army in 71/73 when actually there was reverse discrimination. White officers were terrified of Blacks and Puerto Ricans for fear of them screaming discrimination. It was the whites who got the shaft. There was so much racial tension the 3rd infantry division was on constant curfew. Instead of judges sending black criminals to jail, they gave the option to go to the military and the rest is history.

You have gotten the history wrong.  It was Kennedy who first lowered taxes so revenue would go up.  Carter forgot that and things went south.  Then Reagan came in and lowered taxes and  it worked again proving Kennedy was not just lucky.

In what way? Because he hasn’t fixed the mess Bush ushered in, in a couple of years, or revolutionalized a broken corrupt poltical system in a couple of years. Oh that bastard. Maybe Obama is just as corrupt as most of DC. I know I’m disappointed. Still, I haven’t seen anything in this batch of candidates to make me think they’ll do any better. The fact that they pander and bullshit and make the same load of false promises doesn’t impress me at all. Huntsman seemed like a reasonable fairly honest guy who might shoot straight with people, but the base rejected him. Ron Paul is the only one whom I repsect as intellectually consistent and honest, and the GOP itself is making sure he doesn’t get the nomination.

I don’t see West as leaving in disgrace at all. He made a judgement call and paid the price for it. Nothing disgraceful about that.

That said, what I find more worse than Clinton’s perjury or obstruction, {hardly justice} is the great disservce done by poltical vultures like Gingrich who were willing to attack him personally when they couldn’t beat him on policy.
The GOP opened that Pandora’s box and personal lives have been fair game ever since. Instread of focusing on issues that affected American citzens as group they decided to waste hundreds of hours and millions of dollars looking for thier personal political victory by using his affair.

One of the things that many White Americans don’t understand is the Willie syndrome. West and Cain will be speaking overtime being paid big bucks by the Republicans to get the Black vote. You have four Republicans that don’t give a damn about Black Americans and have spew their racist comments during the campaign. And when they do the two Uncle Toms try to clear up their racial bigot comments. I see the Republican party as the greater evil of the two parties. And many Blacks like myself feel the same way. There are some Republicans that I have supported and voted for, but none of these sorry Republicans that is running for president will I vote for.
