Tamron Hall To Trump: Could Your Debate Look ‘Like An Episode Of The Apprentice?’

video

MSNBC’s Tamron Hall spoke with Donald Trump Friday and discussed his hot new gig — moderating the Newsmax-sponsored GOP debate on December 27th. “I’ve got to ask you quite honestly — a lot of people said these candidates come off as comedic and they have got all kinds of personal issues, especially with Herman Cain and past personal issues with Newt Gingrich. The front page of a magazine with Mitt Romney saying, ‘why don’t they like me?’ Are you worried this debate could look like an episode of The Apprentice?”

“I hope it does as well as The Apprentice,” Trump smugly replied. “The Apprentice has been an amazing thing. We have equal time provisions. Unfortunately, that makes it impossible for me to do what I would like to have done. I was doing really well and leading in the polls when I left. The fact is you have some very talented people. I think they are tough. I think they are smart. I think they have some good ideas. Not all, but I think some of the ideas are really good. We’ll see how it goes. I will be at some point endorsing somebody.”

“I’ve got to ask you quite honestly — a lot of people said these candidates come off as comedic and they have got all kinds of personal issues, especially with Herman Cain and past personal issues with Newt Gingrich”.
And this woman is an alleged journalist? What a fool.

Maxine Waters would fall into the category of “comedic”.

Tamron Hall To Trump: Could Your GOP Debate Look ‘Like An Episode Of The Apprentice?’

…and here’s the really pathetic and sad part: that’s as “intelligent” a question as one gets from ANY lamestream media stooge of the d-cRAT socialist party !!!!

  • Anonymous

MSNBC wishes it could get the ratings of “The Apprentice.”

This particular debate is really a PR stunt for Trump, who’s always up for that, and ION which is a consistently struggling network trying to break out a bit.

Hall’s comments though speak to MSNBC continuing to let bias sneak into dayside.Undoubtedly Hall is a liberal Democrat but what she should be asking about is what new ground might be broken in this debate, what is it’s focus, and why anyone should pay attention to it since there have already been a number of debates.

No one is asking the question of why is it on ION.

I’d rather this debate didn’t turn into some kind of joke,it could,I hope not.We need the campaign to get serious, focus on issues and not people’s personal stuff.

Your GOP Candidates SUCK!! you know it.

I’d rather this debate didn’t turn into some kind of joke,

    Good luck with that.

  • Anonymous

Yeah, that’s why you are so , so concerned about them.

  • Anonymous

Donald Trump is moderating the Republican presidential debate because their first choice, The Muppets, were not available.

  • Anonymous

I wish there were GOP debates every night. Obama’s numbers keep climbing the longer they are before cameras talking. Besides, since the debates have started airing, it’s like a new comedy series started. I have never laughed this hard watching the Simpsons.

Newsmax used to be a good an credible conservative site until they went 100% birther. Now they are like an upscale world news daily struggling for legitimacy.

I think the Donald is the perfect ring master for the GOP three ring circus. GIngrich can drive the clown car.

Sad that after Cain drops out tomorrow they will be one clown short.

I thought it was called the “GOP Clown Show”

You mean it isn’t a series?

No he doesn’t-he’s dates Ms. Piggy.

If this woman thinks she’s a newsperson, she’s wrong.

It’s not fair to measure all of MSNBC by Tamron Hall.  She makes frequent mistakes similar to most republican presidential candidates.  The kindest thing that may be said of her is, I don’t believe she’d ever date Herman Cain.

  • Anonymous

If the GOP candidates think they’re presidential, they’re wrong.

  • Anonymous

Yeah, but she just offered unmistakable proof that the one good looking gal over at
MSNBC was not hired for her brain power!

  • South Park Conservatives

Could someone knock that wig off her head?

This debate has all the makings of a historic event, not for the light it might shed on the candidates themselves, as there is no light to shed, but for epitomizing what Republican political culture has devolved to.  They are a reality show.

  • Anonymous

Are you talking about Tamron Hall or Donald Trump?

  • david r

Donald Trump as moderator?  We’ve gone from the absurd to the ridiculous.  I sure enjoy watching that Tamron Hall, though.

This debate is only the a precursor to the blockbuster Big Lots/Sally Beauty Supply debate scheduled right before Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Years Eve extravaganza. However it will only air on the CI HD Crime Investigation network and available to subscribers in rural and farming communities.

Yeah, Obama’s numbers are really rising, aren’t they?

    December 2, 2011

According to a story in U.S. News and World report, President Barack
Obama’s job approval rating has fallen below former President Jimmy
Carter’s rating for the first time:

President Obama’s slow ride down Gallup’s daily presidential job approval index has finally passed below Jimmy Carter, earning Obama the worst job approval rating of any president at this stage of his term in modern political history.

Tameron has no problem with the guy who actually bowed to Obama moderating a debate with the republican candidates.  Talk about your messed up situation!

Donald is also a far cry better than the CNN guy who has a muppet on his show to discuss politics.

    Geez.

If she were a real journalist, she would have asked Trump the Proven Liar why he still hasn’t released his promised tax returns or revealed the promised ‘amazing things” discovered by his team of Super Secret Hawaiian Birther Task Force investigators.
And media outlet that continues to pander this pathological liar is sending its credibility down the tubes.
And any candidate who associates with this corrupt buffoon should be called out for it.

Miss Piggy looks like a goddess compared to these Republican candidates.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_45S32GWGDRUJIL6E2U4HOZW4BM Bob

No, Newsmax was always a wingnutty joke, prone to asinine conspiracy theories. They used to push Hillary-Killed-Vince-Foster stupidity.

MSNBC even destroyed Hall’s looks- she looks like she has been hitting the crack pipe.

  • Anonymous

Yeah, because all you can date are pigs.

    Still running scared I see.

And that makes you a busy guy!

NEWSMAX, a dingy rightwing extremist blog and Donald Trump.

    #CastOfClowns

We really do appreciate the laugh a minute this republican primary is providing Americans to watch. They should win an Emmy for best comedy.

they’ve never been credible….they were a Bush apologist site and kissed his and cheney’s ass… there was never any level of journalstic integrity over there. NEVER.

sounds like Bob is dating you.

  • Anonymous

And no one cared what you posted.

Hall is not a liberal ..she,s a Texan Bush apologist. I remember the first time I saw her on msnbc…6am on a sunday and she was hardcore defending EVERYTHING about bush’s war.

  • Anonymous

I love it.  It’ll piss off the liberals to no end if it ends up a highly watched and insightful debate.

  • Anonymous

I’m pretty damn happy as a matter of fact.

Tam Ron is one vile, racial agitation homegirl.

  • Anonymous

Comedic? That would be Louie “terror babies” Gohmert and the entire House GOP aka the Birther Caucus. .

  • Anonymous

Right and wrong. Carter’s numbers dropped to 31% when he faced Reagan due to the Iran issue. Obama’s will never get there…and yes, his numbers have actually gone slightly UP from where they were a month or two ago. His numbers are historically low, but taking such a snapshot is myopic. It fails to see what happened to the approval ratings of some of those ex-Presidents during the 4th year. Obama’s could worsen or improve.

  • Anonymous

Actually…they don’t. That would slight the black community and they would lose….big. THEY ARE NOT FOOLISH. Obama got the most votes of any President in US history. Your post makes no rational sense.

  • Anonymous

We can only wish. However, a tiger (Trump) never loses it’s stripes. It’s a gimmick.

  • Anonymous

I don’t know. She’s a liberal no doubt. You need to check her challenging the cons sometimes. There’s one time she really got upset with Michael Steele when he was RNC Chairman until he had to calm her down. She’s a proud Texan though.

  • Anonymous

They are at least far better than the other rightwing cesspools eg. Human Events and World Nuts Daily.

  • Anonymous

I know black hair confuses you South park Conservative.. But Tamron’s hair is *gasp* not a wig ..

  • Anonymous

. . . . .and yet Waters is not running for POTUS.

  • Anonymous

No rational sense? Why don’t you think about it before you make such irrational dismissals. Are you not aware of the ‘Draft Hillary’ movement? Hell, her supporters started the Obama birther crap. He’s not loved throughout the democrat party. OWS is now calling him a “sellout”.  I don’t think his resulting performance has made the black community happy. Obama is now at Carter levels. The only president to bounce back and win from his numbers at this time in the campaign was Nixon. I think rather than looking at race and trying to be the first party to put up a black guy, the media and the DNC should have looked at qualifications. That way we would not need to see the first black president face a potential landslide loss. And don’t blindly whip out your pom poms and claim it won’t happen. Yes he could squeak one out but the numbers are increasingly against him. Or as MSNBC would say: everyone is suddenly raaaaccccciiiiiissssssttttt! You guys are going to be wearing out that race card to try to justify his reelection.

  • Anonymous

Donald Trump got the gig because Carrot Top was unavailable.

  • Anonymous

Like I said, irrational. You say that the DNC “should” have gone with Hillary. I say — they did not have to. Obama got the highest vote tally in history, so, it was NOT a mistake to pick him after his decisive theory. That is self-evident and completely dismantles your asinine theory. The “draft Hillary” movement is mostly by people (the Caddells, Schoens, Rothschilds) who do not like Obama, and probably, did not vote for him ANYWAY in 2008. It’s also being channeled by many Republicans who want to sow seeds of dissension within the Democratic ranks. It will not work. Oh…and Carter, was primary’d. Another big reason why he lost, so was Gerald Ford by Reagan and Bush Sr by Buchanan. Like I mentioned in another post, when Carter faced Reagan, he was down to the high 20′s in approval, and even then, he still got 40% of the popular vote against a very strong performing Reagan! Underestimate Obama at your own peril. I am not playing the race card, tool. I am analyzing factual concepts. Race plays a BIG role in national politics. The DNC were not foolish to openly dismiss Obama’s well oiled candidacy knowing that they usually got 90% of the black vote vote. It’s called suicide. Hillary also had LOTS  of skeletons in her closet, thanks to her long presence in the public square. So, yes, most Democratic factions are disillusioned and have lesser approval of Obama than they did, do you think they will vote Republican? Guffaw.

  • Anonymous

So it’s obvious my comment went over Verreauxii’s head and the he/she/it/what is on kneejerk “Obama could have been a contender” mode.
