Hmm, let’s start with what IQ is; the measurement of one’s ability to retain information. IQ is, like most things in life, part nature and part nurture. In China, they NURTURE intelligence. Success of children is a big part of things, it is burned into children’s brains that they have a duty to their family to succeed. Yes, you do mention that culture is a part of it in your post. So then what both your post and my own confirm is that socialism/capitalism has NOTHING to do with it. Ask Yao Ming, Jackie Chan and Jet Li if education is the only way out. Judging by the ignorance of your posts I would say you have no idea what you’re talking about. The problem seems to be that we do not place enough emphasis on education as a culture, not that our school system is “socialized” which is what my argument is.
