Dr Drew Wildly Claims Lindsay Clancy Case Explains Why Young Men Are ‘Fleeing’ the US

Dr. Drew Pinsky argued the Lindsay Clancy murder trial is the latest example of why young men are feeling hopeless about women, with the doc claiming the situation is so dire that many guys are opting to ditch the USA in order to find a sane soulmate.

The former Loveline co-host weighed in on the Clancy case on the Tuesday episode of his YouTube show.

His guest, attorney Christina Bobb, said a lot of men are living in a “twisted world” where the women in their lives have told them to “sit down and shut up” when it comes to the Clancy trial. She said it was leading to “tragic consequences,” and Dr. Pinsky agreed.

“It’s also leading to alienation between men and women,” Dr. Pinsky said. “Just as an observer, hearing from young men like, ‘What’s in this for me? If I get married, it’s 50% or 60% failure [rate], and they take half my stuff, and take my kids, and take my house, and then they can kill my kids. So what are we doing here? Why do we do this?’ They’re fleeing to other countries.”

The doctor did not share which countries these fellas are searching for love in.

His episode focused on the Massachusetts trial which dominated national headlines over the last month, in which Clancy faced first-degree murder charges for strangling her three children.

Clancy admitted she killed her kids — who were ages 5, 3, and 8 months old when they were slayed in 2023 — but her defense team argued she was not criminally responsible because she was experiencing postpartum psychosis. Following days of deliberation, the judge declared a mistrial on Sept. 4, after a lone juror sided against 11 others who deemed Clancy not guilty.

Several female jurors later slammed the male holdout in a Tuesday interview on local news.

“He had the hardest time getting off the fact that Lindsay viciously killed her children,” juror Kellie Farina griped.

Earlier in his show, psychiatrist Dr. Daniel Amen told Dr. Pinsky he didn’t buy the defense’s claim Clancy was compelled to kill her kids by voices in her head. Dr. Pinsky agreed.

“I haven’t evaluated her, so I can’t tell you with any degree of certainty. But the idea that you hear a voice once, it tells you to kill the children, then you never hear it again — you know, I’ve been a psychiatrist for 44 years, [I’ve] never seen that once, or anything close to that,” Dr. Amen said. “It doesn’t make any sense to me.”

Dr. Amen added he had sympathy for Clancy and her mental instability, but she still needed to be punished.

“I think she had terrible care, but we still can’t say it’s okay to murder your children,” he said.

“Yes, exactly,” Dr. Pinsky affirmed.
