‘Certainly Not!’ Joe Rogan Bludgeons Trump Claim That Epstein Story Is a ‘Hoax’
Joe Rogan obliterated President Donald Trump’s claim that the Jeffrey Epstein story is a Democratic-driven hoax.
In an interview with musician Jesse Welles on Monday’s episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, the host tore apart the notion that Epstein and his longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell did not have any accomplices in their crimes.
“I heard it was a Democratic hoax,” Welles told Rogan.
“I don’t think that’s true,” Rogan said. “Well, it’s certainly not a hoax if you go to jail! Certainly not a hoax if Ghislaine Maxwell’s in jail, too. … She’s in jail for sex trafficking. But the question is: to who? You have to be sex trafficking to someone in order to go to jail, right? So how’s that work? She’s been in jail for years. So how’s that work?”
Welles floated a conspiracy theory that Maxwell was transferred to a lower-security prison so that she could be killed.
“They move her to kill her?” Welles said.
Rogan briefly indulged the theory before dismissing it.
“Could be,” Rogan said. “But why would you waste the money to move someone if you wanted to kill them? I’m sure they could kill her pretty easy.”
Rogan has spent the past month heavily criticizing Trump and others in his administration over the Epstein story — accusing the president and his allies of “gaslighting” the public.
“This one’s a line in the sand,” Rogan said on July 28. “Because this is one where there’s a lot of stuff about, you know, when we thought Trump was gonna come in and a lot of things are gonna be resolved, gonna drain the swamp, gonna figure everything out, and when you have this one hardcore line in the sand that everybody had been talking about forever, and then they’re trying to gaslight you on that.”
The podcast titan also suggested the Epstein story would have a long shelf life — with his new remarks Monday suggesting that, at least on Rogan’s show, the story will remain a major topic.
“This feels like and just looks like that one of those handful of conspiracies, again — you go to JFK or whomever — that’s just gonna hang around,” Rogan said on July 28.
