Pam Bondi Serves Up Red Meat to MAGA By Announcing Trans Athlete Lawsuit — But Gets Pummeled Over Epstein in the Replies

Attorney General Pam Bondi can’t seem to escape those pesky calls to resign over this week’s joint FBI/DOJ report on Jeffrey Epstein, even as she tries to deliver on a major MAGA talking point.
In a video posted to X Wednesday, Bondi was flanked by Education Secretary Linda McMahon as the two Trump administration officials announced a lawsuit against California for failing to enforce the White House ban on biological males competing in women’s sports.
“We’ve made it very clear: Only women in women’s sports under Title IX,” Bondi says in the video. “An example in California? A boy who was in track and field. He would have lost every race, yet in women’s sports, he won over three dozen medals. Those medals should be returned to the women. As well as no boys will be allowed in women’s locker rooms. No longer. We have sued Maine, we’re in litigation with Minnesota, we’ve have sent multiple letters. And if you do not comply, you’re next.”
She added: “The Department of Education and the Department of Justice, we will protect girls in girls’ sports.”
The lawsuit seeks to “enforce Title IX and protect California female student athletes from unfair competition and reckless endangerment by male participation on female high-school sports teams,” according to a statement from the Department of Justice.
The video quickly racked up thousands of replies, but instead of cheering for the litigious action, most saw the opportunity to once again demand Bondi find another job:
Bondi has been faced with deafening calls to resign by the MAGA faithful over the Epstein memo, which found that the notorious pedophile had no “client list” filled with notable names, and was not murdered while in lockup.
The report came months after Bondi gave an interview suggesting that the Epstein client list was “sitting on my desk right now.”
“In February, I did an interview on Fox,” Bondi told reporters during a Trump cabinet meeting Tuesday. “And it’s been getting a lot of attention because I was asked a question about the client list. And my response was, ‘It’s sitting on my desk to be reviewed.’ Meaning the file — along with the JFK, MLK files as well. That’s what I meant by that.”
