President Donald Trump returned to his Truth Social platform Monday with a video of an obese woman running with a gun as he mocked Venezuela’s military might.
The president, posting for the first time since just after Charlie Kirk’s memorial service Sunday night, shared the 19-second video of several women, including one who was morbidly obese, running with military-style rifles.
“TOP SECRET: We caught the Venezuelan Militia in training,” Trump wrote in a caption with the video before sarcastically adding, “A very serious threat!”
The Truth Social post came a week after Trump announced that he had ordered a second military strike on a Venezuelan boat on Monday, claiming that the vessel was carrying “confirmed narcoterrorists from Venezuela.”
Trump claimed the boat was traveling from Venezuela to the U.S. in international waters, while “transporting illegal narcotics,” and three male “terrorists” were killed in the attack.
“TRANSPORTING DRUGS THAT CAN KILL AMERICANS,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “WE ARE HUNTING YOU!”
The ship attacks have prompted Venezuelan officials to threaten a strike of their own against the United States.
“We do not seek war with anyone. We have never declared war on anyone,” Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello told NTN24 reports. “But we have learned to defend ourselves, and we have also learned to carry out devastating counterattacks when necessary.”
