James Carville Hits Back After Hunter Biden’s Profane Tirade: ‘I Ain’t Mad at You, Son’

James Carville offered a response to Hunter Biden after being name-dropped in a profane tirade against him, George Clooney, and other Democrats the Biden felt were too critical of his father, former President Joe Biden.

On his Politics War Room podcast, Carville said he did not take “offense” to Hunter Biden insulting him and said his early criticisms of Biden’s chances in the 2024 presidential election were because he felt he “had to.”

“In a profanity-laden tirade on a podcast, Hunter Biden went after you, George Clooney, and any others who thwarted his father’s reelection bid. I admit I’m a little hurt I wasn’t important enough to make his F-bomb tirade, as I also was against Biden running, but I take great pride that my podcast partner made that list,” Carville’s co-host Al Hunt said when referencing the recent Hunter Biden interview.

“I didn’t take much offense at it. And the truth of the matter is, it was, I never liked — I did what I had to. I didn’t feel like I had any other choice,” Carville said.

In the interview with journalist Andrew Callaghan, Hunter Biden defended his father and called out Clooney, Carville, and others who questioned his father’s age and ability to defeat President Donald Trump in the 2024 race.

Hunter Biden dismissed Clooney as a “brand” and insulted his acting, while blasting Carville as a strategist who “hasn’t run a race in 40 fucking years.”

Carville said he felt forced to become “anti-Joe Biden.”

“I had to end up like being anti-Joe Biden, and there are no people who are more dis-alike, ethically, morally, or anything else than Ken Starr or Joe Biden,” Carville said.

Starr headed an investigation into former President Bill Clinton, whom Carville worked for, which eventually led to Clinton’s impeachment.

Carville added that he is not mad at Hunter Biden and he understands his emotional reaction to how his father’s career ended.

“If it was my dad, I can’t tell you I wouldn’t have done the same thing,” he said. “The pressure on him has got to be enormous so, Hunter, I don’t know, I understand where you’re coming from.

Carville argued that if Biden had dropped out of the race sooner, he’d be celebrated as the “most popular person in the world.”

“Sorry, Hunter, I hope you get better,” Hunt added.

“I ain’t mad at you, son,” Carville concluded.
