The View Hammers Sarah Sanders for Dodging Questions ‘Like a Bad Game of Frogger

The ladies on the The View all agreed that Sarah Huckabee Sanders didn’t handle things very well when barraged by questions about Rudy Giuliani at yesterday’s White House press briefing.

Friday’s View began with a recap of President Trump‘s brief morning presser in which he said Giuliani needs to “get his facts straight” after his last two days going on a media blitz. As the panel joked that Giuliani “hasn’t had time to get his lies straight” with the Trump Administration, they eventually noted that his comments and contradictions have caused a major headache for the White House press secretary.

“It’s terrible to be laughing and now I feel bad for Sarah Sanders,” Whoopi Goldberg said. “This whole thing may have finally left her at a loss for words.”

As the ladies recounted the number of questions Sanders dodged yesterday, Sunny Hostin expressed bewilderment that the White House could be caught off guard and left unprepared to address these matters. Meghan McCain agreed in the sense that Sanders has been put in “an untenable position where she is not being communicated with in the right way.”

Sara Haines added that Sean Spicer was at least able to keep Trump’s messaging on board, whereas Sanders can only evade questions.

“She is dodging like a bad game of Frogger,” Haines said. “She’s literally diving around saying, ‘you know, that’s the best information I had. Please reference Page 5.’ She just keeps dodging.”
