Waffle House Shooting Suspect Travis Reinking Has Been Taken Into Custody

The Nashville Police Department announced that Travis Reinking, the man who allegedly shot up a Waffle House over the weekend, has been arrested.

Reinking has been the subject of a high-profile manhunt ever since he was identified as the prime suspect in the killing of four people and the injuring of four others.

Reinking had run-ins with law enforcement before the attack. He allegedly breached the White House’s perimeter fence several months ago, and much more recently, authorities were trying to track him down after he allegedly stole a BMW from a local car dealership.

Reports on Reinking’s psychological profile suggest that he was a mentally-unstable individual. The alleged shooter apparently had delusions involving Taylor Swift and other people who he claimed were trying to hack. into his phone and computer.

This is a developing story and we will update it with more information as soon as it becomes available.

UPDATE – 2:58 p.m. EST: Footage has come up of Reinking being taken into custody.
