Okay, stop panicking. That headline’s just clickbait, it will never happen. But yesterday, Jesse Ventura floated the idea of maybe being the number two on a Donald Trump ticket.
On his show Off the Grid yesterday, Trump spoke with ex-Trump adviser Roger Stone and railed against how everyone’s attacking Trump as part of the establishment’s efforts to choose who Americans get to vote for.
He said on the Republican side, he likes Trump and hopes he actually wins the nomination (though as an independent, he’d rather a third-party candidate run overall).
As Ventura and Stone chatted about Trump’s potential VP choices, Stone talked up Ben Carson because he “doesn’t come from the world of politics” as opposed to “some former governor” or senator.
Ventura pointed out he’s a former governor and asked if Trump would ever pick him. Stone said he’d have to register as a Republican, which the two-party-hating Ventura didn’t exactly toss aside…
