DEVELOPING: Manhunt Underway For Oklahoma Suspect Who Shot Two Police Officers

Law enforcement in several Oklahoma communities are actively searching for 38-year-old Michael Vance after the suspect shot two police officers Sunday evening.

A man with an AK-47 allegedly opened fired Sunday when authorities were responding to a shots fired call. One officer was struck in the foot and another in the leg, and both are considered non-life threatening at this time.

Vance — white, 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs about 185 pounds — reportedly took off in a patrol car before carjacking a woman in a mobile home park nearby. The suspect shot at the woman, injuring her, though News 9 reports that she refused medical treatment.

As the search continued into the night, two of Vance’s family members were found dead.

Officials believe that Vance was then involved in a shooting in Sayre, Oklahoma around 2:30 a.m. EST, before fleeing the scene in a gray/silver Mitsubishi Eclipse. He is considered armed and dangerous.

This information is developing and we will update accordingly as we know more.
