Don Jr. Goes Nuclear, Accuses Social Media Networks of Censorship: ‘END…THIS OPPRESSIVE NONSENSE’
Donald Trump Jr. went off after an Instagram follower sent him a screenshot of Instagram account blocking him from liking the First Son’s post Wednesday, calling it an “attack on free speech.”
In a long post to Instagram with a screenshot of what happened to the Instagram follower, Trump Jr. said he expected social media was censoring him and other conservatives online — but did not realize to the extent that they’d block people from liking his posts.
“I always knew that social media was censoring me and other conservatives and my experiences this week only drove the point home. That said, I never knew it was this bad,” he wrote, posting some of the direct messages people had sent him regarding how they were blocked from engaging with other conservative-leaning accounts on Instagram.
He urged his followers to continue taking screenshots of social media platforms blocking their content and engagement so all can “see the truth come to light.”
“IF THIS IS HAPPENING TO YOU, I URGE YOU TO SCREEN SHOT IT EACH AND EVERY TIME AND POST IT ON ALL YOUR PLATFORMS SO WE CAN FINALLY GET THE TRUTH OUT AND OUT AND END TO THIS OPPRESSIVE NONSENSE,” he tweeted in all-caps with hashtags about social media censorship.
