Fox News Expresses Solidarity With CNN in Memo: ‘We Condemn All Attempted Acts of Violence Against Media’
Fox News has expressed support for CNN in the wake of a bomb scare faced by the cable news network Wednesday morning.
In an internal memo sent out by Fox News HR chief Kevin Lord, he addressed the events that took place as well as safety precautions their network were taking.

“We want to take this opportunity to inform you that Fox News is taking ample precautions on the security front in our New York headquarters given the suspicious package found at CNN this morning,” Lord wrote. “We condemn all attempted acts of violence against media organizations and our thoughts are with CNN for the safety of all of their employees.”
A pipe bomb was removed from CNN’s New York headquarters addressed to former CIA Director John Brennan, who is now currently a contributor for MSNBC.
