Here’s what we know: Paul Manafort is out as chairman of the Donald Trump campaign. He either resigned or was fired, according to the various sources who chirped about it today. New campaign manager Kellyanne Conway revealed today that it was sort of both!
In an interview with WABC’s Rita Cosby, she said, “He was asked and he indeed tendered his resignation today and Mr. Trump accepted his resignation and wished him well and thanked him for his service.”
She also said that his position as chairman is likely to go unfilled because with the addition of her as manager and Steve Bannon as CEO, they “have a great executive team.”
