It is the talk of the nation. And now, even the White House is weighing in.
During his briefing on Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer spoke out on the video which showed a United Airlines passenger being violently removed from a flight which he refused to voluntarily leave after being told it was overbooked.
“Clearly when you watch the video, it is troubling to see how that was handled,” Spicer said.
Spicer added that he believes President Donald Trump has seen the video. But the White House believes the situation does not require federal intervention at the moment — even though there is a federal investigation now pending.
“Watching another human being dragged down an aisle, watching blood come from their face after hitting an armrest, I don’t think there’s a circumstance you can’t sit back and say ‘this probably could’ve been handled a little bit better,’ when you’re talking about another human being.” Spicer said.
