Seth Meyers had MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow on Late Night Wednesday, where they had some fun at Donald Trump‘s expense to lighten their discussion on the President-elect’s conflict of interest concerns.
Meyers took a “Closer Look” at Trump earlier that night, explaining how his transition efforts have been far from reassuring to those concerned with global warming and protecting the environment. Maddow joined Meyers after that to talk about Trump’s business conflicts; the conversation, however, took a bit of a turn when they ended up talking about the mogul’s irrational ‘phobia’ of windmills.
Whether he’s complaining about how they look or saying that they kill bird populations, Trump has been known to have a fixation on how much he dislikes windmills. Maddow and Meyers joked around about how much wind farms ‘terrify’ Trump, but Maddow did explain how Trump could use the presidency to prevent their construction for his own personal reasons, the same way he did with his golf course in Scotland.
