Shocker: Donald Trump Cheats at Golf
Samuel L. Jackson is the latest to accuse the presidential candidate of dishonest golfing practices
Were you horrified when you learned that Donald Trump pulled medical benefits from his nephew’s infant son with cerebral palsy? Did this morning’s television ad calling for a ban on Muslims entering the United States gross you out beyond words? If your disgust for Trump is high right now, you may not want to read on, because I’m about to tell you the most awful thing he’s ever done.
Are you ready?
Donald Trump cheats at golf.
According to Time, actor Samuel L. Jackson accused the Republican presidential candidate of being unfair on the fairway in Rhapsody magazine when he responded to the question of who was the better golfer by saying, “Oh, I am, for sure. I don’t cheat.”
Are you surprised? Do you feel blindsided by this piece of information? Is your trust in Trump irreparably shattered? I know. Me too.
What’s worse is that Jackson is hardly the first person to accuse Trump of being a poor sport. The Washington Post investigated claims of Trump’s cheating in a September article that should be getting an update with Jackson’s accusation any minute now.
This is shocking and sad, certainly, but I believe that we will overcome our collective disillusionment about the character of Donald J. Trump and we will emerge on the other side of this story even stronger for knowing the truth.
