Sportscaster Says Trump Supporter Deserved Abuse Because She Was Dressed Provocatively

A Tuscon sportscaster deleted his Twitter account Thursday night after a tweet that appeared to justify attacks on a Trump supporter was received negatively.

NBC’s Jacob Rascon was live on the scene when rowdy protesters surrounded and pelted a Trump supporter with eggs, bottles, and tomatoes in San Jose, tweeting out pictures and video of the attack.

But KVOA’s Paul Cicala thought there was important context missing: she was pointing at her Trump jersey.

Cicala did respond to his critics by saying the assault was wrong, but hey, what did she think was going to happen?

In the end, Cicala heeded the advice given to so many before him: “delete your account.”
