With her planned appearance on Fox News’ Hannity tonight, Sydney Leathers’ media moment somehow shows no signs of slowing. And now, the woman who has all but derailed Anthony Weiner’s New York City mayoral campaign has hit the studio, recording a single called “Weinerizer” and posing with a blunt to support marijuana legalization.
The Daily Mail joined Leathers in a New York recording studio over the weekend, where they captured photo and video evidence of her music debut and medical marijuana activism. Her new song is a parody of Britney Spears’ “Womanizer”, made with the help of producer Adam Barta, who’s most famous for helping the “Tanning Mom” with her single “It’s Tan Mom.”
As for the weed, the site reported that Leathers happily posed for pictures while smoking a blunt and showing off her medicial marijuana card (affliction not specified). She also identified herself as an “activist in the campaign to legalize marijuana.”
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Leathers revealed that she had planned to go back to school on the 15th of this month, “but obviously with everything that’s happened I can’t do that.” Instead, she’s “going with the flow,” which apparently includes talking to Howard Stern and filming pornography. She said the music video for the new song would be on YouTube within the next couple of weeks, preferably before the September 10th primary.
