The Blaze‘s Tomi Lahren Sets Twitter On Fire, Blaming BLM For Dallas Police Murders

In the minutes following the first reports of the murders of multiple Dallas police officers, The Blaze‘s Tomi Lahren  became one of the nation’s top trending topics on Twitter after she took to social media to blame Black Lives Matter demonstrators for “openly applauding this war on cops.”

In one now deleted tweet, Lahren compared BLM to the Ku Klux Klan.

But there were several tweets she elected to stand by.

She accused the media, President Obama, and Attorney General Loretta Lynch for being complicit in the murders of the Dallas officers.

Lahren has been outspoken in her criticism of Black Lives Matter, including mischaracterizing the group’s premise as advocating a position of “Black Lives Matter more.”

A petition to have Lahren fired from The Blaze quickly appeared on Change.org, created by Natia Brown who wrote: “Tomi Lahren needs to be fired because her INHUMANE comments against anything African American continues to go on and no one does anything about it. She’s clearly impartial and should not be allowed to attack black people the way she has.” It is not the first such petition.
