Trump Thanks Bob Woodward for Saying He’s ‘Right to Be Upset’ About ‘Garbage’ Dossier

President-elect Donald Trump thanked Bob Woodward for saying that he’s right to be upset about that “garbage” intelligence dossier that consumed the public’s attention last week.

The famed Washington Post reporter said on Fox News Sunday today that Trump’s point of view is being “underreported” here, especially when elements of the intel community “started this.”

And this was his assessment of that dossier BuzzFeed released:

“I’ve lived in this world for 45 years where you get things and people make allegations. That is a garbage document. It never should have been presented as part of an intelligence briefing… Trump’s right to be upset about that.”

He said there were other channels through which that information could have been dealt with.

Woodward even said he thought the intelligence chiefs made a mistake and should apologize, a sentiment Trump echoed upon watching what he said:
