WATCH LIVE: Chris Wray, Rod Rosenstein Testify Before House Judiciary Committee
FBI director Christopher Wray and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein will appear before the House Judiciary Committee today for a congressional hearing on the FBI and Justice Department’s actions in connection with investigations of the 2016 presidential election.
The two are bound to face questions about the recent report from Inspector General Michael Horowitz, who recently concluded that there was bias and improper conduct within the FBI over the last few years, even if it didn’t compromise the overall integrity of the investigations into Russia and Hillary Clinton‘s email scandal. The two are also likely to be asked about yesterday’s hearing with anti-Trump FBI agent Peter Strzok, as well as the congressional GOP’s calls for the Justice Department to provide more information into their activities.
