Rebuilding American infrastructure has been on President Donald Trump‘s agenda since his campaign, and today he is scheduled to give an update on his infrastructure plan.

Watch live above. Things are scheduled to start at 3:45 p.m. EST.

Trump, with his background in real estate development, has been passionate about updating the country’s infrastructure. He last spoke about his plan back in June, when he gave a speech in Ohio as part of infrastructure week. He announced he wanted to allocate “$200 billion in federal funding over 10 years to spur at least an additional $800 billion in spending by states, municipalities and the private sector.”

He also announced he wants to reduce the time it takes to get a permit for these infrastructure changes from 10 years to two years. He wanted to focus on rural structures, like bridges, roads, and waterways, and wants to rebuild them in bold, new transformative ways. He also mentioned a plan to privatize U.S. air traffic control, but was hit with opposition from the Democrats.

Trump is concerned that America’s infrastructure has fallen to 12th in the world. A White House statement regarding infrastructure said, “every American depends on our roads, rails, ports, and airports, and the President is committed to fixing this problem, not just pushing more liabilities onto future generations.”
