Back in March, Louis C.K. appeared alongside Bill de Blasio at the annual Inner Circle dinner, doing for the New York City mayor what Keegan-Michael Key’s “anger translator” Luther does for President Barack Obama. Now, de Blasio is apparently returning the favor by letting the comedian follow him around for a few days.
They have been spotted together exiting a meeting of the Financial Control Board:

The New York Times managed to corner Louis C.K. and ask him what he is up to. The details were pretty sketchy.
“I can’t, because I don’t know what it is yet. I’m just messing around with something, and we’ll see what happens,” Louis C.K. said of the unspecified comedy project that is apparently unrelated to his FX show Louie. “It’s for a possible new idea. I have no idea if it’s going to happen.”
“He’s a nice guy,” the comedian added of the mayor. “And he’s been really accommodating. So hopefully I’m not bothering him.”
What’s truly shocking is that de Blasio was willing to accommodate Louis C.K. after the comedian admitted to Jimmy Fallon that he had poop in his pants for the duration of his performance with the mayor earlier this year.
