Trump Gives Himself Praise and a New Nickname: ‘Thank You, President T’
On Sunday, President Donald Trump took to Twitter to give himself a new nickname and credit for falling oil prices.
“So great that oil prices are falling (thank you President T),” Trump tweeted out. “Add that, which is like a big Tax Cut, to our other good Economic news. Inflation down (are you listening Fed)!”
It is not the only time Trump thanked himself over the Thanksgiving holiday.
When asked by reporters what he was thankful for this holiday, Trump replied: “for having a great family and for having made a tremendous difference in this country. I’ve made a tremendous difference in the country. This country is so much stronger now than it was when I took office that you wouldn’t believe it.”
Trump’s latest self-praise did not go unnoticed by the internet which quickly mocked Trump’s self-congratulatory tweet.
Even a Congressman joined in dubbing himself “Congressman C.”
Trump’s Sunday “President T” tweet came on a prolific day of tweeting that hit, in part, Mexico, the Clinton Foundation and the border.
