Friday Cable Ratings: CNN Fails to Hit 100K in Demo from 5-9PM

CNN’s original programming fell below the 100K viewer mark in the 25-54 demo on Friday night from 5-9 p.m. During those four hours, the second half of The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer at 6 p.m. was the highest rated show on CNN with 93K in the demo. At 5 p.m. Blitzer beat MSNBC’s The Ed Show 82K to 80K but otherwise during those hours MSNBC drew more viewers.

Overall in primetime, Fox News was #1 with 276K in the demo and 1.775M total viewers. MSNBC came in second with 93K in the demo and 517K total viewers. And CNN was third, averaging 86K in the demo and 418K total.
