Hannity to Brown Family Attorney: ‘Give Me Any Evidence That This Is About Race!’
Sean Hannity got in a heated back-and-forth with Brown family attorney Daryl Parks about the race aspect of the Ferguson case and how, in Hannity’s eyes, if Michael Brown didn’t rob a store and fight the officer, “none of this would have happened” in the first place.
When Parks brought up race, Hannity said, “Give me any evidence that this is about race.” Parks argued it’s not necessarily about race in this one case, but about racial relations all over the country.
Hannity then brought up what he considered an unsaid truth about Ferguson:
“If Michael Brown didn’t rob the store, if Michael Brown didn’t intimidate the clerk, if Michael Brown didn’t shut the door on the officer and struggle for the gun… none of this would have happened. Isn’t that the lesson here?”
They tussled back and forth over this for a bit, and Hannity kept telling Parks that the evidence and testimony was “overwhelmingly incontrovertible.”
