‘He’s A Joke’: Joy Behar Trashes Bill O’Reilly For Their Fiery 2010 ‘Ground Zero Mosque’ Debate

Looks like some hard feelings never go away. Departing The View co-host Joy Behar called Fox News host Bill O’Reilly a “joke” while recounting her famous 2010 set walk-off during a debate with him over the so-called “Ground Zero Mosque.”

Speaking with comedian Judy Gold at a 92Y event on Tuesday, Behar recalled how she exited the View set with co-host Whoopi Goldberg after guest O’Reilly “implied all Muslims are terrorists.”

“O’Reilly is another joke,” Behar told Gold. “The day I walked off the show on him, I was really pissed at him.”

She relayed that “People said ‘why didn’t you just sit there and argue with him?’ It wasn’t like that. Here’s a guy that’s saying the most stupid thing as far as I was concerned, implying that all Muslims are terrorists.”

“That is incorrect logic, it’s impossible, so stop saying it and be quiet,” she added. “And he wouldn’t stop, and he kept going, so I didn’t want to deal with him.”

And so… she exited the stage.

According to Behar, The View‘s leading lady Barbara Walters was none-too-pleased with the walk-off: “Barbara did not like it. She was like, ‘No, you sit here!’”

“No, I don’t sit here. I don’t!” Behar shot back.
