Mitch, get back to work and put Repeal & Replace, Tax Reform & Cuts and a great Infrastructure Bill on my desk for signing. You can do it!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 10, 2017
President Donald Trump continued his trend of calling out major GOP elected officials on Twitter Thursday with yet another tweet about GOP Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
Trump called on McConnell to work on the Republican’s moribund health care bill . This is not the first time Trump has sassed McConnell on Twitter to get moving with health care. Just yesterday Trump asked him “why not done” after seven years of trying to repeal and replace. At least this time Trump tried to be a little more encouraging, telling him, “You can do it!”
The Twitterverse did not take kindly to Trump’s tweet, roasting the president by pointing out that he is also on vacation — a 17-day jaunt to his golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey.
