Arrest Has Been Made In Ricin Mailings

(*UPDATED BELOW*) An arrest has been made in the case of two envelopes containing ricin that were sent to President Obama and Senator Roger Wicker, as well as letters sent to other senators that have yet to be confirmed whether they also contained ricin. Both NBC News and CBS News just confirmed the news on Twitter, with NBC saying the man has been identified as Mississippi resident Kenneth Curtis.

Both of the letters sent to Washington contained the signature “I am KC and I approve this message.” Both letters were intercepted at off-site mail facilities and were independently confirmed to contain ricin.

UPDATE: NBC News is now identifying a different name: Paul Kevin Curtis is the man arrested by federal agents.
