Exclusive: Two Most Senior White House Correspondents Speak Out On Helen Thomas

Since the abrupt retirement of Helen Thomas earlier this week, the White house Press Corps is now without its unofficial Dean. Since Helen was the most senior of all White House correspondents, her departure has left Audio-Video News’ Connie Lawn and World Net Daily‘s Les Kinsolving as the 1st and 2nd most senior members of the corps, respectively. While neither has designs on the deanship, they each had a lot to say about Helen’s departure, and the current state of the White House briefings.

They each also took a second to plug their books: Connie Lawn’s “You Wake Me Each Morning” and Les’ biography “Gadfly: The Life and Times of Les Kinsolving.”

(Please excuse the camera’s unprompted zoom in the middle of the clip, but I didn’t want to lose what they were talking about)

Well, Blow your horn Connie. Thats really something to be proud of. Around all these years and now yer dean, and I still don’t know a damn thing about you or care to. LOL

It’s a bit absurd that WorldNetDaily is given representation in the press corps, but Les Kinsolving is actually an interesting guy. He grilled Reargan’s PressSec about AIDS in the 80s when the White House didn’t even know what it was.
