Well, first of all, holding the President accountable isn’t racist, whether you’re a liberal or a conservative. What we need to realize is that there is a difference between holding the President accountable and being a blind partisan by criticizing his every move and saying nasty things about him. The left didn’t seem to acknowledge this difference during the Bush Presidency, either.

Holding Obama accountable is criticizing his spending if you deem it to wreckless, criticizing him not being able to keep his campaign promises, criticizing him for not representing the people who got him elected, criticizing him for having a weak foreign policy if you deem his foreign policy proposals dangerous, criticizing him for the bailouts if you deem them to have been unnecessary. The rest of us will have to pretend to be interested. Still doesn’t have any effect on the unemployment rate, though.
